So you have recently decided that you want to become a nurse, well, there are a few things that you need to know before you start studying. The first thing that you should be aware of is that there are several different types of nurses. You will need to decide what type of nurse you are going to be and then study for that title. The three types of nursing careers that we are going to discuss are the following: Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, and Bachelor’s in Nursing.

In order to become a licensed practical nurse you will need to spend at least 1-2 years studying in a nursing school or you can focus on studying the following three topics: human anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. Licensed practical nurses are used to perform basic medical tasks like dressing wounds or assisting a doctor.

In order for you to become a registered nurse you will have to study for a minimum of 2 years. An alternative would be to get a bachelor’s in nursing by studying for 4 years. There are several different ways that you can achieve the qualification to become a registered nurse.

In order to get bachelors in nursing you will need to study for a minimum of four years (most bachelor nursing courses are for 4 years). Once you have a bachelors you will have no problem finding a good nursing job.
